Christof Wittig

Christof Wittig is CEO at Madvertise, Europe’s fastest growing mobile ad network.

Before joining Madvertise, Christof was Managing Director of Kii Capital which invests into early stage mobile applications, running on smartphones like Android OS handsets and the iPhone.

Christof has more than 15 years of experience starting and running software companies. A three-time serial entrepreneur, he was the founder and CEO of Servo Software, Inc., which merged with Synclore to form Kii in July 2010. He was also founder and CEO at db4objects, Inc., which was sold to Versant Corp. in December 2008. Before that he was the founder and CEO of Apsis Software AG in Munich, Germany, and led the company through its sale to Nemetschek AG in 1999 and its merger with conject AG in 2002.

Christof is on the Board of or a strategic adviser to multiple companies in the technology industry including conject, Metago, Synphonie, Hornet Networks, Keep Safe, and Cambria Technology Group.

Christof holds a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where he was a Sloan Fellow in the Class of 2004 and author of the case studies on MySQL and Google’s Android.
